With Twilights Embrace
In the quiet of twilight’s embrace,
Where moonbeams dance and stars trace
You, my dear, are a mystical grace.
A soul adorned with magic’s lace.
Your form, a symphony of light and shadow.
with a galactic map of places you’ll go.
At twilight, the veil thins between worlds
As eyes holding secrets of the ancient skies twirled
Skin, soft as petals of the spring blooms,
Whispers of forgotten constellations loom.
And when you smile, galaxies harmonize.
Painting the universe with blue hues of surprise.
Wear your beauty like a celestial gown.
Let stardust adorn you,
as spirit comes shimmering down,
Never give up, as the stars are aglow
The show must go on, in rain, sleet or snow
For within your essence, a cosmic crown.
A magical heart opened to astound.
Twilights embrace
beckons to hold you tight
Praising the Universe for this very night.
When children pray it goes something like this:
“Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep, see me safely through the night, and wake me with the morning light.”
In which followed was a mothers kiss.
Hearing the Intervention of the Divine
as it sounds:
“Seek not only creation
but also preservation
for the next round”
The next morning arrived
with gratitude for the day
a prayer that is shared,
with joy as we shall say
“My dear God, thank you for this day. I ask not to know where I am going, but only to know and feel in the depths of my heart and soul, that you are with me, that You are guiding me, that I am safe in the protection of your loving care. Thank you God for this day, as I give my life to you”.
