In Divine Time

“Those who put their faith in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31

Feeling the Shift

Many of us are sensing that something is changing. There is a feeling that life is moving, even if we cannot fully explain where it is leading us. We may notice shifts in our relationships, careers, health, spiritual growth, or daily routines. Sometimes these changes feel exciting, while other times they create uncertainty and discomfort. Yet beneath the surface, there is often a quiet awareness that something new is unfolding. When we gather in community, pray together, and celebrate the presence of God, we are reminded that we are not walking this journey alone. Even when we cannot see the full picture, God is working in our lives, preparing us for what comes next.

Trusting God’s Timing

One of the greatest lessons of faith is learning to trust divine timing. We often want answers immediately and hope that our plans will unfold according to our own schedule. However, God’s timing rarely follows our expectations. Scripture reminds us, “Humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time He will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you” (1 Peter 5:6-7). These words encourage us to release our fears and trust that God has not forgotten us. What may feel like a delay is often a season of preparation, growth, and alignment for something greater than we can currently see.

The Seeds We Have Planted

Each of us carries dreams, goals, and desires that have been placed on our hearts. Perhaps there is something you have wanted to begin, complete, or pursue, but for one reason or another it remains unfinished. These dreams are like seeds planted within us by Spirit. While we often focus on the results we hope to see, God is concerned with developing strong roots first. Seasons of waiting are not wasted seasons. They are opportunities for growth, learning, and spiritual development. As Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” The harvest arrives when the season is right, and our role is to remain faithful while the seed continues to grow.

Divine Timing vs. Human Timing

Human timing is often driven by urgency and control. We want to force outcomes, rush the process, and make things happen according to our plans. Divine timing operates differently. It is patient, purposeful, and perfectly aligned with God’s greater vision for our lives. Just as a flower cannot be forced to bloom before its season, we cannot rush our own growth or transformation. Sometimes God removes distractions, redirects our attention, or rearranges circumstances to prepare us for what lies ahead. As Zechariah 4:6 teaches, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” True progress comes when we stop forcing and begin trusting the process that God has already set in motion.

Trust the Process

It is easy to believe we are falling behind when life does not unfold according to our expectations. We may compare our journey to others or wonder whether we have missed an opportunity. Yet divine timing reminds us that what is meant for us will never pass us by. Every experience, challenge, and delay can serve a purpose in preparing us for the next chapter. We are not forgotten, we are not behind, and we are not lost. We are exactly where we need to be in this moment. By trusting God’s timing, remaining faithful, and continuing to take inspired action, we allow life to unfold as it was designed to. The doors that are meant to open will open, and the path ahead will become clear in its proper season.

Affirmations for Trusting Divine Timing

I trust that everything is unfolding in the perfect season.

I am exactly where I need to be,

What is meant for me will never miss me.

Closing Prayer

Thank You, God, for reminding us that Your timing is always perfect. Help us trust the seasons of waiting and preparation. Give us patience when answers seem delayed and faith when the path ahead is unclear. Remind us that You are always working in our lives, even when we cannot yet see the results. May we trust the process, follow Your guidance, and move forward with confidence, knowing that we are exactly where we need to be. We are grateful for Your presence, Your wisdom, and Your love. And so it is. Amen.
