Every season of life invites us into something new. Yet stepping into a new season can feel both exciting and uncertain. We may wonder what lies ahead, what changes are coming, or whether we are truly ready for what is next. Faith asks us to move forward even when we cannot see the entire path. Like a child setting off on an adventure, we are invited to approach life with curiosity, trust, and a willingness to embrace new possibilities. As we enter this new season, we are reminded that God is our security and that the Divine Presence is already guiding us toward what is unfolding.

Becoming Childlike Again

When we were younger, we often embraced new experiences without needing every detail in advance. We were willing to hop into the car with friends, explore unfamiliar places, and trust that something exciting awaited us. Jesus spoke to this quality when He encouraged us to become like children. Childlike faith is not naïve; it is a spiritual openness rooted in wonder, trust, and curiosity. As adults, we often seek certainty before taking the next step, but faith invites us to rediscover the freedom of trusting God even when the destination has not yet been revealed.

Releasing the Past

A new season cannot fully emerge if we remain attached to an old one. Many of us carry expectations, disappointments, and stories from previous chapters of our lives. Unity teaches that we create our reality through the thoughts we hold in mind, which means that new experiences require new ways of thinking. As we enter this season, we are invited to release old conditions such as separation, defensiveness, competition, and misperception. Letting go of what no longer serves us creates space for fresh possibilities and allows us to welcome the new version of ourselves that is ready to emerge.

Faith Through Uncertainty

The journey of faith does not guarantee that life will always be easy. Jesus Himself encountered doubt, criticism, betrayal, and misunderstanding during His ministry. Yet He remained anchored in His relationship with God and continued moving forward with purpose. We, too, will face situations that challenge our trust and test our resolve. The invitation is not to avoid uncertainty but to meet it with faith. When we trust the indwelling Spirit within us, we discover a strength that remains steady even when circumstances appear uncertain.

The Gift of Renewal

Spring offers a beautiful reminder that renewal is always possible. Just as trees appear bare before new growth emerges, there are seasons in our lives when transformation is happening beneath the surface. The roots are growing deeper even when we cannot yet see the blossoms. Every experience, including the difficult ones, becomes part of the fertile ground that supports future growth. As we release the desire for life to be different than it was, we allow old forms to become nourishment for the next great flowering of our lives.

Embracing the Season Ahead

The Easter season reminds us that new life continually emerges from what appears finished or complete. God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. This truth allows us to move forward with confidence rather than hesitation. We do not need to know every detail of the journey ahead. We simply need to trust that the same Divine Presence that has guided us this far will continue leading us into what comes next. Every new season carries opportunities for growth, purpose, and a deeper expression of who we are meant to be.

As we welcome this season of growth and possibility, affirmations help us align our thoughts with faith, trust, and acceptance. They remind us that God is already present in the path ahead and that we can move forward with confidence and peace.

Closing Prayer

Thank You, God, for this day and for the opportunity to enter a new season with faith and acceptance. Thank You for helping us examine the condition of our thoughts and gently release anything from the past that no longer serves our highest good. As we move forward, may we trust You more deeply, listen to Your guidance more clearly, and accept the direction Spirit is calling us toward. We are grateful for our connection with the Divine Mind and for the wisdom, strength, and love that accompany us on this journey. And so it is. Amen.
