God as Security

When you believe in God, you believe in prosperity consciousness
We know a grateful heart opens us to receive the good already present in our lives. And we know God is everywhere present; that is our security. There is no spot where God is not. And that means prosperity isn’t something “out there.” It’s within us, in the very substance of who we are, in the presence of God.

The Journey from Head to Heart

In Taoism, it’s said that the longest journey we’ll ever take is the 18 inches from the head to the heart. That journey can take a lifetime.

We’re all thinking beings, our minds are constantly active, analyzing, solving, and planning. Yet, true connection with the divine substance—the pure presence of God—happens when we quiet the mind and open the heart.

Meditation helps us bridge that space. When we still our thoughts, we begin to feel the presence of God, not just think about it.

God as Our Security in a Changing World

The world is changing rapidly. Systems that once felt secure—economic, social, and even environmental systems of the past—seem less stable today. But in the midst of this, we’re invited to see and know God as our true security.

Material things will come and go. Sales, markets, and possessions are part of the worldly experience, but they aren’t the source of our peace or prosperity.

True wealth comes from our well-being; are we spiritually well. The root of the word “wealth” actually means “to be well.” So we must ask ourselves:

Am I being spiritually well?
Am I living, speaking, and believing from that spiritual well-being, knowing that God is my source, and God is my security?

Believing is the Key to Prosperity.   Prosperity begins with Believe. Do you believe that you are already living in the substance of God? Security isn’t financial — it’s psychological and spiritual. When we rely on the world for security, we stay in our heads. But when we trust God as our source, we move into our hearts. That’s where the shift happens — from fear to faith, from scarcity to sufficiency.

A Consciousness Adjustment

We don’t have to chase prosperity. It already exists within us. Our work is to adjust our consciousness to remember that truth,  to breathe in the knowing that we are part of divine substance, part of the universal flow of life. When we align with God the Good, we begin to see blessings everywhere.

The Story of Jack

Jack, in his mid-60s, was approaching retirement. For years, he worked in a skilled trade, but as he aged, job opportunities diminished. Retirement felt frightening and uncertain.

Then, through meditation, Jack remembered something, he loved writing. He’d always written short articles for fun, and it brought him joy.

So he made a new choice: to become a writer in retirement. The idea wasn’t random; it was divine inspiration.

Each of us receives divine ideas this way. In stillness, Spirit whispers inspiration, a business idea, a health breakthrough, or a creative project. These are gifts.

Sometimes, when we share these ideas with others, fear-based thinking can talk us out of them. But remember: that divine idea was given to you. If you don’t act on it, it will move on to someone else ready to receive it.

The Law of Patterning

This leads us to another Universal Law,  the Law of Patterning. The patterns we hold in our minds directly shape our lives. If we continually replay thoughts of limitation, fear, or “I’ve been through this before,” those patterns repeat themselves. But when we shift our focus to truth, gratitude, and possibility, new patterns and new outcomes emerge.

In Mark 9:24, a father asked Jesus for healing for his son, saying, “If you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” Jesus replied, “If I can? Everything is possible for one who believes.” And the man said, “I believe; please help my unbelief.”

This is our prayer, too. Even when our faith wavers, we can ask Spirit to strengthen our belief.

Co-Creating with God

We are not passive observers in creation, we are co-creators with God. Prayer and meditation are how we align our will with Divine Will. When divine ideas arise, we must put feet to our prayers and take action.

Matthew 6:33 reminds us: “Seek first His kingdom,”
which means, become aware that God is all substance, the power and presence in all things. When we seek that awareness first, everything else falls into place.

Practicing Prosperity Consciousness

Hold onto the truth that God is your source, not the economy, not your job, not your circumstances.

Take time each day to quiet the mind and listen. Write down the divine ideas that come to you. Those ideas are the seeds of prosperity. The next step is co-creation with you, as part of the infinite, abundant universe.

Affirmation

God is my source, and I am prosperous.
Repeat it often. Believe it fully. Live it daily.

Closing Prayer

Thank you, God, for giving us this opportunity to connect with You more deeply, to know Your presence and Your power at work within us. We are grateful for every moment, every molecule, and every breath of Your pure substance that flows through and around us. We rest in the knowing that You are our source, our security, and our supply. Amen
