God as Our Indwelling Spirit

The Bible reminds us in Deuteronomy 33:27: “The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”

And again in 1 Corinthians 3:16: “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

God is not distant or separate. God dwells within us—our indwelling spirit. This means we are never alone. Even in times of struggle, God is present within our very being. It is in this knowing that we can begin to see how the focus on our indwelling spirit can result in prosperity for us in our lives. 

Prosperity as a Buffet Table

Think of prosperity consciousness like a buffet table of spiritual laws and principles that work for our Good:

• The Law of Truth
• The Law of Gratitude
• The Law of Visioning
• The Law of Prayer
• The Law of Forgiveness
• The Law of Synchronicity 

Each of these nourishes our inner spirit and supports prosperity in our lives.  You see, prosperity is more than money. True prosperity means being spiritually well—whole in mind, body, and soul.  Our blessings are not by accident or coincidence. They are the results of us aligning with these spiritual laws. We will touch on forgiveness, synchronicity, and visioning:

The Law of Forgiveness

Forgiveness clears the path for wellness to flow freely within. Forgiveness is not for others—it is for our own self, to release resentment, which frees our spirit and restores us to prosperity consciousness. How can we make room for joy and hope in a mind that is full of burdens of the past?  It may take years, or even decades, to go through the process of forgiveness, but forgiveness is a spiritual law that will always lead us back to God’s abundant love, and a measure of our own indwelling spirit.

The Law of Synchronicity

Synchronicity is a spiritual law, which many chalk up as “coincidence.” Synchronicity occurs when the manifestation of Spirit’s flow is aligned in our daily lives.

Synchronicity shows us that where attention goes, energy flows. When we align with Spirit, life moves in harmony with the choice of where we put our energy.

The Law of Visioning

With the Law of Visioning, we are invited to imagine the world we want to see: a world of peace, harmony, unity, and love. How can we do this, when there is so much anguish and discontent in the world? If we feel anything that is less than, we then must refocus our mind on what is opposite of the discontentment, and envision the opposite factor as truth: 

The opposite of hate is love.The opposite of lack is abundance.The opposite of resentment is forgiveness. Our inner vision shapes outer reality.

Affirmations

I am spiritually well.

I acknowledge my indwelling spirit.
 

Closing Prayer

God, thank you for being present within us today. Help us recognize our indwelling Spirit as the source of our truth, prosperity, and abundance. May we live in unity, harmony, and gratitude—knowing we are never alone and always blessed. Amen.
